Although I totally disagree with you on the issue of Tal’s Hill, I accept the fact of of our basic shared right to think differently on any subject under the sun. I don’t like it, but, hey, I even accept the fact that Tal’s Hill is gone. No longer an issue.
What the cartoon is about is the now active issue of “distance” of CF from home plate. – and will that 27′ (436′ – 409′ = 27′) shorter dead center field measurement stop at the measurable restoration of whatever “deserved” lost home runs means – or will it simply give us a bandbox of hits and a brand of pinball machine baseball that is due to the shorter fences over the whole outfield?
Count me among those who prefers thinking and strategy baseball over bash brothers ball – all the way down the line.
