Babies Make Page One of Chronicle Sports!

Today the vintage base ball club we know and love as the Houston Babies cracked the big time of sports coverage in our dear old home town. Our opening game, 13-4, win over the Katy Combine last Saturday, March 31st, in Sealy, Texas was duly reported by the astute Mr. Barron and placed and then placed on the front page of the sports section of the Houston Chronicle – on Opening Day for MLB Houston Astros.

Talk about about a high cotton feeling! For those of us who are vintage base ball and ancient Houston fans, this is the real McCoy!
