A Merry Christmas Mystery

It’s not a big mystery. ~ In fact, it’s not even up there on the charts as a small mystery. ~ It’s just yours truly wondering ~ who was the kind, thoughtful soul who sent this beautiful Astros World Series Year Christmas Tree ornament that came directly to our house from the manufacturer via UPS in this past Saturday’s delivery cycle round?

To whoever did send this special tree gem, we say,

“Thank You So Much for Your Thoughtfulness!”

Besides, it simply sets up one more opportunity to say,

“Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings to All of You!”

A very Merry Christmas and New Year to you Bill and Family, thank you so much for the very good blog and keeping us informed of many things we call Baseball. My Grandfather raised me and he worked for Peden Iron and Steel for 20 years and actually got old working there. He was moved from the main warehouse by his boss to a cushy job across the bayou at the steel warehouse as a night watchman. I will always remember going late in the evenings to visit him and he would be sitting inside that large warehouse inside the break room that had a huge plate glass window so you could see out into the bays. He would always have his feet up on a big desk sitting there and had the radio on listening to the Astros games. He was born in 1912 and cared nothing for TV baseball but like all those other people born then they still preferred to listen to baseball on a radio. All of those things mentioned are gone now except
Baseball, you picked a forever living past time to be so involved with
    Bill. Thank you again

Best wishes to all for a Merry Christmas and fulfilling New Year
