A 2-run homer by Enrique Hernandez of the Dodgers could’ve been the perfect time for that runaway light bill explosion and a 6-4 walk-off win for LA over Boston, just as Hollywood movie script requires, except for one obstacle. The Sox had scored 5 runs in the top of the 9th. All it could do was bring the final losing score for LA up to the 9-6 deficit it actually was. The Dodger Stadium maintenance team will not need to replace any broken arc lights prior to tonight’s Game 5.
