ASTRO*NOTES
Although the Indians and the Astros are the only two clubs left in mild to serious contention for the “HFA” through the World Series, the Astros still have an excellent chance to catch the Indians for “HFA” through the AL Playoffs if the space rocks can now sully forth with momentum from the Verlander-inspired AL WEST clinching on Sunday.
C’mon, guys! ~ Bring it on home! ~ The rest of the pie is yours for the taking!

Overall not out of the question with LA only 4 ahead in loss column. However, no team wants to over extend itself trying to “win” something that really doesn’t count directly for anything. Win as many games as feasible down the stretch, but do nothing to potentially harm team for the post season. “Winning” the home field advantage does nothing if you are bounced out in the first round.
