Pin Ball Baseball Was Great 4th of July Fun » Christmas Past HR
Under the lower left side, the part yjat’s covered by the glove in the first photo, there was lever you pulled that propelled the little silver pin balls, one at a time, up the release channel and onto the field. Pulled at full strength, the ball shot on an arc around the top and then bounce off off a metal piece that was designed to carry it bouncing all over the place. Over time, you learn what it takes to reach that tiny space between the two large “U” spaces marked above here as “single” and “walk” as a “home run.” I did reach a point in which back-to-backs were not uncommon. Not bragging. Any kid with good finger dexterity and my capacity for obsession could also do it.
